The Windows Desktop Client supports a few installation switches for pre-configuration. These apply only to the Client named the Windows Desktop Client under the Generic Clients section of our downloads site.
The HOSTIP and HOSTPORT settings define the server address and port.
Setup.exe /S /HOSTIP=192.168.100.12 /HOSTPORT=3006
Please note this will not modify your Windows firewall rules or the staylink.ini file with the Device ID. You will need to modify the Windows firewall.
As for the Device ID, if your devices do not need a unique value, you can use the server to push this value to all your devices. Otherwise, you will need to do this manually. Client Settings can configure a workstation name for each device using a MAC address or static IP value, but a copy of the client setting is required for each device if these values are unique.
