It is important to\nnote that StayLinked derives a serial number from the hardware on which it is\ninstalled. Any changes to a virtualized server can result in a new virtual\nmachine hardware layer and can change your serial number. Set your\nvirtualization software to reserve the primary network adapter hardware\naddress, as this is an important part of the StayLinked serial number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proper availability of resources is critical to StayLinked Server performance. With the popularity of virtualization, server environments can be loaded on shared hardware; providing on-demand, dynamic, or limited resources to the server operating system.
