The echo test is available with each StayLinked\nclient and is available by selecting echo test from the tools menu while the\nclient is connected to an active session. If your device is running in full\nscreen mode, use the keyboard map combination for the \u2018keyboard menu\u2019 and\nselect echo test from the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The test will run through 200 transactions (some\ndevices offer a configurable echo test), displaying various statistics in real\ntime. Once the test completes, the results will be recorded in the client\nstaylink.log file. Pressing the escape key or tapping a touch-screen device\nwill stop the test immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Below is a brief description of each echo test statistic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SNT:<\/strong> Sent packets. The SNT, RCV, CLL, RSP and RT1 values will be the\nonly categories to return statistics in a perfect test. The RT1, RT2 and RT3\nresults give an indication of the general network performance by grouping\ntransaction responses into the different response groups. In a typical test, most\ntransactions should call into the RT1 group, with very few RT2s and no RT3\nresults. The more RT3 values returned the more likely your users are to see an\nimpact on performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This test is best reviewed specific to the physical area in which it was run. SYN:<\/strong> Synchronization requests.
IMS:<\/strong> Immediate synchronization requests.
DUP:<\/strong> Duplicate Packets.
OSQ:<\/strong> Out-of-Sequence packets.
RTX:<\/strong> Retransmitted packets.
TXF:<\/strong> Transmit buffers full.
CLL:<\/strong> Echo packets requested.
RSP:<\/strong> Echo packets responded.
RTT:<\/strong> Round-trip time for the last packet burst.
RT1:<\/strong> Packets with round-trip below 200 ms.
