    Installing the SmartBrowser APK<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Download the SmartBrowser APK to your PC from the StayLinked Downloads Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In 'Settings' on the mobile device, ensure USB preferences are set to \u2018File Transfer\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Connect to the mobile device via USB to your PC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Drag the SmartBrowser APK into the \u2018Downloads\u2019 directory on the mobile device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Open the \u2018Files\u2019 application on the mobile device.\u00a0 Navigate to the \u2018Downloads\u2019 directory, select the SmartBrowser APK, following the prompts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Open the SmartBrowser and allow access to manage all files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the back arrow on the top left of the screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Sessions\u2019 screen appears, and the Browser is now installed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Close the APK on the mobile device and the SmartBrowser icon appears on the Home Screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The next time the APK is launched, the SmartBrowser splash screen appears briefly, before the log-in screen\u00a0for the StayLinked WMS Demo appears by default. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Typing any Name or Password <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Accessing Admin Mode<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Open the drawer at the bottom of the screen by tapping the Up Arrow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Sessions\u2019 screen appears, indicating a current active session with The StayLinked WMS Demo by default. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the \u2018Admin\u2019 button on the top left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Access to \u2018admin mode\u2019 requires an access code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tapping into the entry field activates the onscreen keyboard.\u00a0 If the access code hasn\u2019t been changed from the default, enter \u2018esp\u2019 and press the \u2018Enter\u2019 button on the onscreen keyboard or the \u2018Submit\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Profiles\u2019 screen appears next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Creating and Editing Profiles<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Launch the SmartBrowser APK and enter \u2018Admin mode\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Profiles\u2019 screen appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the \u2018+ Add Profile\u201d button to add a Profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For this example, we have entered the Profile Name, Description, and URL pertaining to the StayLinked Downloads Portal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Required fields are indicated with a *<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap \u201cAdd\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Profiles\u2019 screen now displays the new \u2018Portal\u2019 profile just created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the \u2018Portal\u2019 profile, tap the kabob menu icon to the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Select \u2018Make default profile\u2019 and tap the \u2018Continue\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The \u2018Portal\u2019 Profile moves to the top of the list in blue as the new Default Profile.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the kabob menu Icon to the right of the \u2018Portal\u2019 profile and select \u2018Run session\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The StayLinked downloads portal webpage now appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Viewport Mode<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the previous example, the StayLinked Portal web page appears small on a mobile device.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    ViewPort mode is available to address this scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Open the drawer at the bottom of the screen to enter the \u2018Sessions\u2019 screen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    From the \u2018Portal\u2019 session kabob menu on the right, select \u2018End session\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    SmartTip!<\/strong> It is considered best practice to end any open session before making changes to a profile.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the \u2018<Profiles\u2019 button on the top left to leave the Sessions screen and Enter the \u2018Profiles\u2019 screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tap the kabob menu icon to the right of the \u2018Portal\u2019 profile and select \u2018Edit profile\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Scroll down and turn on the slider for \u2018Insert Viewport\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Scroll down and tap the \u2018Save\u2019 button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Back on the \u2018Profiles\u2019 screen, select \u2018Run session\u2019 from the \u2018Portal\u2019 profile kabob menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now with \u2018Viewport\u2019 enabled, the web page is zoomed in to the cursor position.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Proxy Server<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If a proxy server is in use, turn on the slider for \u2018Proxy Server\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Proxy IP Address can be an IP address or a URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Enter a Proxy Port and tap the \u201cSave\u201d button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
