Some WMS/ERP systems require processing time between inputs. Inputs while the system is not ready can be lost or cause errors. StayLinked has several features that can inject a delay or create a break between user inputs.
Timing settings to create a delay are available at the Client Level by adding a Client Setting:
and at the Telnet Host level as an Emulation Property:
In cases where a simple delay is not adequate, the One-Shot Scanning feature is available to prevent the scan engine from submitting new inputs until the screen is updated by the telnet host.
